Susan Gilleran
Founder & Lead Instructor
Susan Gilleran is a dedicated and experienced mathematics educator with a passion for helping students succeed in advanced coursework. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a secondary teaching certificate from Wayne State University, followed by an MBA with a concentration in e-commerce from Lawrence Technological University and a postgraduate certificate from the Honeywell Institute of Information Sciences. Mrs Gilleran began her career teaching high school mathematics before transitioning into the corporate world as an information technology manager at Ford Motor Company for 30 years.
She later returned to her passion for education, teaching online AP Calculus AB and BC courses for 16 years with PA Homeschoolers Inc. Committed to continuous professional growth, she has completed six intensive College Board summer institutes—two focused on AP Calculus AB and four on AP Calculus BC—as well as two additional AP Calculus BC workshops. Mrs Gilleran brings a unique blend of academic expertise, real-world experience, and enthusiasm to her teaching, and she looks forward to an exciting and rewarding year ahead with her students.
